Enfoc original: Check. Oferta interessant: Check. Rebosteria: Check. Check. Check.
I'm everyday more addicted to St Antoni and Eixample's district in Barcelona, with all its endearing bars, delicious bakerys, amazing shops with organic products, second hand furniture and cloths...So I found myself walking around there. Again.
I saw Cometa for the umpteenth time, and today luck, time, availability and hunger have decided to let me in. Finally. My brain has started to mentally check all the factors that I like to find in a place: Cozy decoration, check. Charming music, check. Original themes, check. Interesting offer, check. Pastries, check, check, check. And the most sweet-toothed and spoiled part of me has double-checked when seeing the huge cookies on the counter.
The place is as ideal for a sweet breakfast or snack -they've got a huge offer of delicious cakes and pastries-, as for a savory treat. You can also enjoy a vermouth at the terrasse, composed by some tapas and hand-crafted beer on spring, or a hot cup of coffee, tea or lattes on winter. Or maybe you'll choose fresh juices, great sanwitches...
You have also the chance of ordering it from home. This place is the brother of Cosmo coffee-gallery, and Cinco's bakery, from which you'll see the review soon.
If I had to quote a couple details that make this place one of my favourites, I'd say -and I know that's something very specific of myself- that the charm of the neighbourhood and the place, their Green Chai-Latte and huge cookies...and the space they've got upstairs that's perfect for studying -more quiet, with pluggers and wifi-...make it very hard for me to get out of here.
