That's the cafe/bakery where I wrote this article, for whoever is interested in eating disorders and the way of getting over eat without stopping being a foodie.
It is an ideal place to enjoy an incredibly delicious piece of cake enjoying it's taste as much as the music, the ambient, and the smell...all put together. The whole places follows a temathic around it's name Caelum -"heaven" in latin-: their products -that can be either eaten there or bought as a present- belong to the traditional religious spanish pastries, made by nuns in the convents. Especially if you're a turist and you're willing to try this kind of old-fashioned cakes -even if there are not tyipical from Barcelona, Catalunya-, that's a great place to taste incredible "Tecula-mecula" -a thick acorn cake-, or "tarta Santiago" -that takes the name of the city that it comes from, and its gluten-free, since it's made with almond meal-. Since it's made with expensive ingredients -a lot of nuts into the old baking, and I love it so much!-, and the place is also stunning -a cozy room located in an ancient cript, in the old town of Barcelona, "el Born"-, the price is quite expensive. But I really think it worths it, especially because you'll probably won't be able to find any other place in Catalunya where they make this kind of spanish pastries. The cost would be around 5 euros for a piece of cake. But, just for once, stop by and enjoy this peace of "caelum" / "heaven", in this charming place in the mos beautiful area in Barcelona -but also the busiest!-, and take a sweet breath of peace and joy.
